Festival du livre/book fair this week:
Our Festival du livre (French book fair) is starting this week in our library. Thank you to Mme Moore and her volunteers for all the hard work. Here is a note from Mme Moore about the book fair:
Dear Parents,
The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to our school! You are invited to join your child and help them find the books they will enjoy reading! Our School’s Book Fair will be held on:
Monday, November 20th– Friday, November 24th
8:30 am- 3:00pm
Here are some tips consider before you visit:
• Take a look at our booklist flyer to see a sample of the great titles that will be available. Many parents find it helpful to make a wish list ahead of time: scholastic.com/bookfairs/books
• Please know that we are now required to charge tax on every purchase, so please send your children enough money to cover tax as well as their book costs.
• Check out our Classroom Wish List books. These are titles that teachers would like to add to their class library.
I hope you can make it! If you’re interested in volunteering, please contact our Library Media Specialist, Mrs. Moore at krystal.moore@rbe.sk.ca. We will require two parent volunteers in the mornings and afternoons!
Looking forward to seeing you,
