Please join us this Thursday evening Dec. 14th from 6:00 - 7:30 pm for our Family Winter Fun Night. All École Centennial students with their families are invited to join in the fun for games, crafts, treats and a special holiday market put on by our Grade 8 students as part of their Practical and Applied Arts class. Market sales and activities will take place in the main gym. Cash only please. Proceeds go to Tele Miracle in January.
Please support our food drive and help us collect non-perishable foods for the Regina Food Bank.
Bring items to the bins on the tables just outside the library. Thank you to our CLÉ students and staff for organizing.
3-way conferences are happening this week:
Thursday, Nov. 23rd is for Kindergarten B students only (no school for kindergarten that day)
Friday, Nov. 24th is for all students Kindergarten A, grades 1-8 (no school for students that day)
On Friday, Sept. 29th our school focus was on the Calls to Action for Truth and Reconciliation. We remember the children. Our day started with a staff smudge, followed by a school-wide reading by our grade 8 students of The Orange Shirt Story by author Phillis Webstad. Our Land-based students from grade 6 presented to all classes a puppet play about residential schools. Our classes worked on a whole-school art project for a star blanket. Students were encouraged to complete a section of the star blanket that represented them.
Our school is once again raising money for cancer research through the Terry Fox Foundation. Students, staff and families are encouraged to donate in the fight against cancer by donating to our school's fundraiser.
Donations can be made through the Terry Fox Foundation for École Centennial School at this site:

Students can also donate to their classroom teacher to be included in our 'Cancer Sucks' campaign. Suckers will be given to all students that donate.
