January 28, 2022 -- The attached letter from the Director of Education will be sent to all school families today. It is in response to changes announced by the Government of Saskatchewan related to self-isolation and close-contact protocols.

Dear school families:

January 24, 2022 -- Due to multiple cases of COVID-19 reported in the Grade 1/2 classroom at École Centennial Community School, that class will transition to remote learning on Tuesday, January 25th. Students will return to school on Friday, February 4th, if they are feeling well and are symptom-free.

December 10, 2021 (UPDATED) -- Regina Public Schools continues its commitment to promote the health and safety of students and employees and to provide and maintain a safe work and learning environment for all. The Government of Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan Health Authority have recommended vaccinations for those who are eligible as one way to minimize COVID-19 risk to citizens.

As of November 29, 2021, proof of vaccination, or recent negative COVID-19 test, will be required for all who enter a Regina Public Schools building. This requirement does not apply to students.

November 24, 2021 -- The Saskatchewan Health Authority is organizing and responsible for immunization clinics for students.

On behalf of the SHA, Regina Public schools will be sending information about clinics home with elementary students.

The following is a basic list of supplies for the 2022–2023 school year. You may choose to wait for fall as individual teachers will be requesting additional items for their classes in September. Please label all items with your child’s name or initials before sending them to school.

May 4, 2021 -- Regina Public Schools is excited to introduce Edsby to all staff, students and parents/guardians. Edsby is a comprehensive digital learning platform that will replace the PowerSchool Parent Portal this summer. Parents/guardians will be able to use Edsby to keep up with what’s happening with their children at school and to remain active in the education of their children.
